Newbie from Columbus

Post by ky83cat on Wed Oct 28, 2009 3:16 pm

Ex-military. Been in Columbus since '93, just haven't slowqed down enough to enjoy the outdoors until last year. Bought a F&S boat to spend more time with kids and started Geocaching to see more MS. Haven't hunted since I was stationed in SC; no land and was not samrt about COE areas. Too bad for son. He got his hunter's safety card a few years ago in CO while living with his dad for a year. Now he's back home with us and I'd love to get him out ---NEVER been hunting unless you count hunting dad with a paintball gun!

Stumbled onto this site while trying to locate a shooting range in our area. Great site!!

Thank you for the warm welcome. With my classload right now and the job junk being peaked right now, I may not be "on" as often as I like, but will try to hit the site often, I am already finding a LOT of useful info in the forums and love learning from the "old heads" who know much more than I do. (BTW, I use "old" with respect as I am no spring rooster myself) Thanks again for the welcome!!!! hi-ya

Hey Hey let's not start namecalling!! I not only feel, but am "old". Welcome to the site and good luck with taking your son hunting. If you take your kids hunting, you won't be hunting your kids.
