How do you carry?
what method of concealment do you use? where do you carry in order to print the least? what do you carry? why?
i carry my 1911 in a don hume IWB but im trying to find the "sweet spot" that doesnt print so much. so far about "4 o'clock" is working pretty well and right where my levi's tag thing is on the waistband is too but its harder to reach.
Any suggestions/stories/pictures/recipes? hell theyre all welcome. im trying to figure this stuff out before i get my CCW and scare some little old lady in the grocery store...and i thought it may make a good thread

Re: How do you carry?
I used to carry my 1911 in a Crossbreed Supertuck in the 0400 position. But it is a PITA to get to, especially when seated. Plus, when you sit down in a chair, like at a restaraunt, it hangs on the back of the chair or hits against it.
I normally carry my XD in a Blackhawk serpa rig on my right side. Ijust wear a shirt long enough to cover it. A normal lenght T shirt will just about totally cover it. Sometimes an inch of the holster is visible, but O well. Most people are not observant enough to notice that.

Fall/Winter/Spring...strongside holster w/coat, lightweight jacket or vest for cover. When its hot, IWB w/t-shirt tucked and oversize short sleeve untucked, unbuttoned and covering the handgun.

i am hot natured, so i dare not wear something that makes me have to keep a jacket on at all times. and a vest just isnt me... that would be the giveaway right there.
