Just finished my second Deaver book for the month. This one is The Broken Window. Like all deavers books its alittle slow at the start, took about a week to read 100 pages, then, 2 days for the rest. This one is about identity theft and will kinda make you think. There are alot of things in this fiction novel that could actually be going on. My copy is spoken for by 1 friend then I'll post it here.

What do yall think of the article in Rifleman about double rifles? I have always been intrigued by the African Bigbores, but they are to damn expensive! El cheapo $10,000 wow. Granted that El cheapo is better built and tuned than my finest rifle, but who has money for these guns? Would love to own one though, maybe someday I'll meet someone who owns one and will let me shoot it.

Who here has read the Left Behind series? I have read all of the books, usually by the end of the day that the book came out. They are that good. I think it was 14 books in the series, each one averaged 400-450 pages.

Who here has read the Harry Potter series? I know it sounds like a childrens book series, but they are very well written. I have read all of them. A couple of them in less than one day. The storyline is amazing, with details written in so good you can visualize the scenes. If you have not read them, and like to read, I would suggest trying them out.

The movies are great, but the book is 10 times better.

Declaration of Independence - Book to put on your "Read List"

I am reading an excellent book on the Declaration of Independence right now.

It's called "Signing their lives away the fame and fortune of the men who signed the Declaration of Independence".

Short biographies of each man who sign the Declaration. Very interesting read.

How many of you know that the Declaration was not signed on July 4th?
