Sat down and flipped the shooting rail down over my head and rested my bow on it. It's still pitch black. All of the sudden something brushes against my shoulder from behind and this big blob is about 10" from my face. I flailed my arms like a maniac and made some kind of noise.
What if hunting was banned?

James L. Cummins • November 9, 2009

Hattiesburg American

Let's take a hypothetical situation to show what would happen in Mississippi if, in fact, hunting was banned. As of today, it is illegal to hunt deer in Mississippi. In other words, hunting is now a thing of the past. By July 2010, Mississippi's deer herd has increased from 1.7 million animals to 3.5 million animals. That is about 1.8 million animals greater than the current habitat can support. ...

A COUNTRY HARD ON OLD THIS OLD MAN

As I arrived in Arizona at the foot hills of The Apache National Forrest there was magic in the air and great expectations. What a beautiful country that would prove to be hard on this old man. I had worked all summer exercising by running, weight lifting and steps. Well, it is a good thing I did because I can't image making any of the country and chase on this one bear I saw with out the effort I put forth during the summer.

VENISON VERSUS BEEF THE TASTE CONTROVERSY ENDS FROM THE UNITED STATES

VENISON COUNCIL

Controversy has long raged about the relative quality and taste of

venison and beef as gourmet foods. Some people say that venison is

tough, with a strong "wild" taste. Others insist that venison's flavor is delicate. An

independent food research group was retained by the Venison Council to

conduct a taste test to determine the truth of these conflicting assertions once and for all.

Anti-hunters have begun using a new tactic to advance their agenda known as "astroturfing," according to a U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance article. This term is used to describe incidents where an internet user claims to be someone or something they are not for the purpose of posting comments onto online forums, news stories and blogs. Next, my feeders have cracked corn(25%), 12%sweet feed for horses(25%), and purina antlermax(50%)

It was 47 degrees, ground fog blanketed that Oak bottom that ran along the edge of a pine thicket. Sunrise was about to take place and I could not wait for the sun to burn the fog away and warm up the damp morning. For two weeks I had been hunting a big boar that acted like he owned that bottom and the creek that ran long it’s edge. He was a careful fellow, who would only make his run along this span of woods in the early ...

Both places have issues with folks running dogs, flushing deer from MY woods on to their land which burns me up like you wouldnt believe! Why is it the law seems to side with dog runners and never the land owner? I am not anti-dog hunting but these people are not honorable folks! They should seppuku to restore honor to themselfs and their families

Darkness was beginning to break as the cold crisp breeze of this early fall morning gently fondled my face. It was invigorating and relaxing as I worked my way up the ridge from the canyon below, so I could be on top before sunrise. I was so excited about spending the next 10 days in the mountains of the Apache National Forest of Arizona.

2.	It must be a rifle that you know and are familiar with, because you have spent a lot of time holding it in your hands working the action and safeties so as to learn it’s peculiarities!
