On November 29, 2000, I inspected a rifle purchased by Irving Foskey from Doug Hendry at the Amite Pawn and Gun. Mr. Foskey claims this rifle malfunctioned and injured him.

How do they feel about shooting them do they know how to shoot, will they shoot them, are they willing to learn to shoot or are they afraid of them? If they don't shoot and won't learn to or are afraid to shoot why? I'm just curious because I have never had a fear of guns or shooting in the least and sometimes find it difficult to understand why a woman won't learn or is afraid. The first to show his stuff was and old 1941 Winchester that I brought back to life at the end of last year. I decided to treat him right and brought along his parade bayonet and feed him nickel plated brass using chrome clips!!

His partner today was a 1943 Springfield M1903A3.

Ok, I am pretty sure I have my XD(m) sold. I am going to be replacing it with a hunting firearm. Just not sure what direction I want to go as of yet.

Here are the next three items on my list:

460 or 500 S&W revolver with 6 to 8 inch barrel. I will equip it with a scope more than likely.

.444 rifle, either a Marlin lever action or Handi Rifle (I am a BIG lever gun and single shot fan. I currently hunt with a Ruger No.1 in 7mm Rem mag.)

The Defender's Creed

By: John Farnam

I accept and understand that human predators exist. Criminal or terrorist, they take advantage of our civilized society to prey upon the weak. They represent evil and must be confronted and defeated.

I believe that self-defense is a moral imperative, and that illegitimate force and illegal violence must be met with righteous indignation and superior violence.

The specs are:

1.75 ID tubing, 12" long, .5" wall

Doubled up piece of shop towel for wadding

250 grains of Pyrodex

Cannon fuse

We aren't completely done with the aesthetics of it, but after we test fired it, the building was over.

We probably shot it a total of 20 times. It shoots pretty flat. It dented a Propane tank at ~30 yards. We had no misfires at all. I started with a load of 100 grains ...

Mag Maker for Gun Makers.

Move this if it is in wrong place. I had never heard of this place but they say they make mags as OEM for 15 quality firearm makers. Son got an M1A1 and said he was going to get some 25 round mags. I told him I'd stick with the SA mags and he told me this place made the mags for SA's.

http://www.checkmateindustries.com/handgun.htm

May be a good source for hard to find mags. I haven't checked their prices but must be better than the manufacturer if they are the supplier.

I'd like a civil discussion...facts... no bashing.

I have met a lot of good pistol shooters who could also shoot a shotgun and a rifle very well.

On the other hand, I have met some good rifle shooters that cannot seem to ever do anything with a pistol or revolver.

Other than the pistol and revolver shooters being forced to learn trigger control, I'd like to dicuss why this is.
