I think I asked about a local dealer but what do you guys think about a thumb break vs. open top? I kind of worry about bumping into someone hard and the pistol coming out. On the otherhand, a thumb break may take an extra half second and also make catch when drawn. What say you all?

i posted about these being on sale the other day. i got mine in...

what fast service! i have worn it a little bit already. it is a great fit for the PPS and retains it quite well. i am not real crazy about how high it sits, but it is more comfortable this way, so i think once i get used to it, i will like it more...

sorry for the blurry pics. my sis has kidnapped my camera, so all i have is my phone...

Have a buddy who wants some adjustable sites to go on his new Springfield G.I. 1911...has mil-spec on it now...crummy

He was looking at night sights...but since He stated that it was only for target practice, night sights did not seem right.

I was thinking maybe a black rear adjustable with some sorta fiber optic front.

What would ya'll suggest?...provide links if ya got 'em

John Bianchi came up with a way for revolver armed Police to carry "speed loaders" in their existing ...

Their site is clear as mud, at least to me which ain't hard. Have to call them I guess but wanted ya'lls opinion. Has anyone converted over to LED from the incandecent bulbs? I guess all you do is get a new front end or is their more involved with batteries and such? LED's hold up pretty ...

Ok, I want opinions.

My trigicon reflex sight is fading out. Its about 10 years old, and most of you may know its not battery powered and lights itself off of radioactive material inside it. Its brightness is faded to the point that during daylight hours I can't see the dot any more. I emailed trigicon asking if there was anything that can be done for it - and they did not respond. I guess that mean I'm SOL.

I think I'm through with the trigicon stuff. No batteries is nice but if ...

Sears has got some tool pouches for 9.99 a pair through tomorrow. Hadn't loaded the ones I got today but I had some property someone left a pouch and it'll carry 30 lbs. of tools easy. Surprised me so a load of mags and ammo shouldn't be hard on it. One is 18" and the other is maybe 12". Looks better in the back seat of your truck with a bag that says Craftsman than Glock when the crooks are trolling. Sears is Sears so I had to find the bags after the guy told me they didn't have them.

If you all are like me...You have a truckload of holsters acquired over the years. Some I like, many I find do not pan out....The off the shelf ones you get at Bass Pro etc just don't get it for me.

A good holster that is custom made to your piece is certainly a great addition.

I'm constantly looking for the right holster for concealed carry...there is none I guess.

Who do you all like for holster makers?..
