Occassionaly, I watch the TV show Cops.

It's amazing the stupidity displayed. One thing I'm seeing quite a bit is a LEO asking the driver if he can have permission to search his vehicle.

I'm not inclined to know the circumstances under which a LEO would ask this question nor have I ever been asked.

Could some of you who have been in LE comment on this?

I have never had any reason to be worried about being asked but at the same time the LEO would have to have a real good reason ...

Then the quest became getting a pair of perscription shooting glasses.

After a quick spin on brianenos.com it became pretty apparent that Rudy's Project shooting glasses were well liked. I chose the Exception model because of teh flip up style lense. They also have a model where the interchangeable lense are on the inside...those ...

Hi All,

I travel to other states in my car, and Mississippi's designation for a concealed carry permit is "Firearms Permit". Wouldn't this be a little vague to LEOs in other states during a traffic stop? (Some states call the permit that is needed to simply *purchase* a gun a "Firearms Permit"). Is there any site or information that I can print-out and keep in my car that clearly states that a MS 'Firearms Permit' IS indeed a CCW permit, so I don't land in an out-of-state ...

In light of the number of Obama appointees and other Democrats who have recently been caught evading taxes, it makes one wonder exactly how many of the other members of Congress are also ...

Perhaps it is the effect of the new bill effective July1, but for whatever reason, the wait after applying is substantially less than previous.
